How Does It Work?

Boost Hot & Cold for a Balanced Flow

If your hot water is gravity fed from a hot water tank but your cold water is mains pressure, you have a ‘mixed’ system.

To boost every shower, tap or appliance in the entire hot water system, a single Shower Power Booster can be added to the 22mm pipe after the hot water tank and vent pipe.

If you wish to boost and protect a single shower or tap, the pump can be positioned on the pipe which feeds just that tap or shower. It will remain boosted even if other outlets are in use.

If your mains cold water pressure is particularly high, two Shower Power Boosters can be added inline to double the hot water boost and help you take full advantage.

t

My mains cold water pressure if very high. Will a single Shower Power Booster help?

Yes, most showers can handle a pressure differential of up to 4:1. To take full advantage of high mains pressure, fit our SP21S two-pump pack for a powerful shower.

t

Where is it best to install the pump?

Anywhere convenient! In the airing cupboard, next to the hot water tank or in loft space. As it uses safe 12V DC, you can even fit it in the bathroom.
