How Does It Work?
Boost the Hot Only
If your hot water is gravity fed from a hot water tank but your cold water is mains pressure, you have a ‘mixed’ system.
Simply install a SP2B Shower Power Booster on the 22mm hot pipe near the hot water cylinder to boost the flow rate for every tap and shower in the home or fit it closer to your shower or tap to boost that shower or tap and protect the tap or shower from fluctuation if other taps and showers in the home are used.
Although a single boost with a SP2B on the hot water is all that is needed for most homes a double boost with out two pump SP21S kit is great value so we recommend you double boost with the SP21S two pump pack. For boosting kitchen taps you may wish to refer to our “special applications”
If you buy a single SP2B you can upgrade to a SP21S double boost by adding the SP1U upgrade pump.

Ask Alan

My mains cold water pressure if very high. Will a single Shower Power Booster help?
Yes, most showers can handle a pressure differential of up to 5:1. To take full advantage of high mains pressure, fit our SP21S two-pump pack for a powerful shower.
Where is it best to install the pump?
Anywhere convenient! In the airing cupboard, next to the hot water tank or in loft space. As it uses safe 12V DC, you can even fit it in the bathroom.
