A good shower is a shower which will give nice and powerful spray pattern and enough water in that spay to wash away soap and suds quickly.
A ShowerPowerBooster will produce a shower as effective as a 3 bar 1,000 watt pump.
Shower Heads
I most cases the shower head will limit the flow and determine the maximum flow that can pass through that shower head. You will note from the flow graphs below that the 3 bar pump is achieving just 7 litres a minute with a particular shower head whilst 6 litres a minute is achievable with a 12 watt SPB.
A shower power booster can add 3 metres head to a typical top floor shower which will increase an existing 1 metre head to 4 metres head. This gives four times the head and you will get 2 times the flow when compared to a shower using the natural head from a gravity system. With a mixer designed for gravity systems and a good shower head expect 5 to 6 litres a minute and a good spray pattern.
The shower head is so very important to getting a good shower and it is often the shower head which determines the maximum flow and not the size of the pump.

Pressure Flow Test
Please note that the flow at 1 bar is 6 litres a minute and at 3 bars is just 7 litres a minute.
The ShowerPowerBooster is designed as a retrofit solution, easy to fit, and our pumps will boost 95% of plumbing systems in the UK. If you have a pressure problem in a gravity system, a fully pressurised system, and combi boiler, or mixed system, a ShowerPowerBooster solution will fix it.
