ShowerPowerBoosters are ideal for boosting water heaters, they are easy to fit with just basic DIY skills, and they are fully compliant with UK water regulations.
Water heaters come in many shapes and sizes (see below), but it is the KW rating that often determines how much water you can get through a water heater and if you have reached the minimum pressure quoted by the manufacturer then you will have achieved the maximum flow. Lots of people do not have the minimum pressure and need to boost their pressures, our pumps are a simple DIY solution if you do need to boost your water pressure.
A single boost from a SP2B adds 0.3 to 0.6 bars and is normally all you will need to stop your water heater dropping out at low pressure, with very low mains pressures, the double boost of a SP21S adding 0.6 to 1.2 bars will fix it.
The following link gives you things to think about when deciding if a SPB will work for you and which of our pumping solutions you need. Contact our Customer Service team if in doubt.
