The fitting of a Shower Power Booster in the loft is an easy DIY job.

Fitting a Shower Power Booster in the loft – Mixed Gravity Hot and Mains Pressure Cold.
Top Tips
To avoid the need for an electrician simply plug the transformer into a downstairs 3 pin plug and buy our 3 metre low voltage cable to get the power into the loft.
Make sure that the pipe on which the pumps are connected is connected to the vent pipe in the loft and it falls very slightly across the loft so air can escape.
There is a chance that air may get trapped in a pump volute. Rotate the pumps so that the pump do not stick up ‘like a sore thumb’.
A single SP2B in the loft will give a single boost which is enough pressure for a good shower and costs £125. For £155 you can buy 2 pumps which gives the a double boost equivalent to mains pressure.
