The key pillar underpinning our ethos of sustainability is the rejection of the throw away ethos so common in society. Our pumps will need replacing eventually – no product lasts for ever.
Repair or Buy New
We sell the number one pump as judged by customer reviews on Trustpilot. We are the only pump with a full 5 stars.
As we continually improve our products you may wish to start afresh with a new pump and to do so visit

Ever since our first pumps were produced in 2012 we have retained an ethos of repair as an option side by side with buying new. All the individual components to repair a ShowerPowerBooster can be purchased.

Carry out the following tests to find out which replacement part you need.
If your ShowerPowerBooster is not working you can test the individual components.
Blue Light not illuminated
Transformer Failed?
Step One
Check the power supply unit by plugging the male plug from the transformer directly into the female from the white motor. The pump runs manually.

Plug Transformer Directly into Motor
If the motor does not run then the transformer may be faulty.
Step 2
Check the 3 pin socket by plugging in another electrical item and if that works then check the fuse in the 3 pin plug.
Step 3
Retry Step 1 and you can conclude if the transformer has failed.
You can buy a replacement transformer.
Blue Light flashing slowly on and off?
Transformer or Motor Failed
All ShowerPowerBoosters have a trip which trips out (no light), and then resets (light on)

Disconnect the motor from the flow switch
If the slow flashing light turns to a constant light then the motor has failed.
If the slow flashing light continues to slowly flash then the transformer has failed.
Solid Blue Light (not flashing quickly when water turned on)
The first thing to do, simply because it is the easiest thing to do, is to run the pump manually (see above), take the shower head off if it is a shower and lay the shower hose in the shower tray. You are trying to get as much water through the pipes as possible in the hope that it will push trapped water before it. You may be greeted with a splurge of air and problem fixed, but if not read on.

Replacement pump barrels can be purchased.

Replacement transformers can be purchased

We commit to this policy of providing spares to reduce waste and make it easier for you to keep up with the maintenance of your pumps (meaning you can enjoy the perfect shower for longer!)

The shower power booster is a compact pump that punches 20 times above its size and weight. Our pumps give an amazingly good shower with 12 watts of well targeted electrical input. Using a small fraction of the input power to produce the great shower or tap flow we all deserve is obviously part of our claim that our products contribute to a sustainable world, but we go further, much much further.
