Most weak showers need one pump. Some need more: very low mains pressure, gravity hot that has to match strong mains cold, long pipe runs, or a combi boiler that keeps shutting itself down. In those homes a single boost helps but a double boost might be better.
The SP21S are two WRAS-approved booster Shower Power Booster Pumps fitted in series on the same pipe, working as one — an automatic pump plus a second pump linked to it, sharing a single 3-amp transformer. Two pumps on one pipe means twice the pressure gain of a single pump, on whichever feed needs it: hot, cold, or the incoming mains.
It’s the pump we recommend if you have gravity hot and mains pressure cold, have combi boilers that cut out, and electric showers above 8.5 KW.
